2. * TENSES  1.THE SIMLPE PRESENT TENSE * Form: KĐ(+) S+ V/V(s, es) Ex: I go to school every day.  She walks to school. PĐ(-) S+ do/ does + not + V  (do not = don’t/ does not = doesn’t)
3. Example  Ex: She doesn’t play volleyball in the morning.  They don’t have many dolls.  NV(?) Do/ Does + S+ V .?  Yes, S + do/does . No, S + don’t/ doesn’t  Do you walk to school every day?  Yes, I do/ No, I don’t  Does she ride her bike after school?  Yes, She does/ No, She doesn’t
4. Wh- question:  Wh + do/does + S + V ?  What do often you do on the weekend?  Why do you learn English?  Where does he live?  To be: am, is, are  I am a student  She/ He is a student.  We /You/ They/ are students.
5. 2. The present progressive tense: * Form: S + be + V ing +) S + am/ is/are + V ing -) S + am/is/are + not + V ing ? ) Am/is/are + S + V ing ?  Yes, S + am/is/are  No, S +am not /isn’t/aren’t
6. Wh-question: Wh +am/is/are + S + V ing? What are you doing? I’m studying English Adv: “now”, “at the moment” , “at present” Ex: I am watching TV now. * Look!, Listen! Be careful! ( Look! The bus is coming)
7. 3. Simple future tense:  Form: +) S+ will + V -) S+ will + not + V (will not = won’t) +) Will+ S + V ?  Adv: future, tomorrow, next Ex: She will do her homework tomorrow.
